Ann De Bode

Ann De Bode (b. 1956) has illustrated almost 300 books and also written a number herself. Her oeuvre includes everything from counting books to adventure stories. She is known for her scenes in Fimo modelling clay, which are always crammed with amusing details, as well as for an entirely different register, with powerful, realistic paintings that greatly enhance the story's atmosphere.
