Koen Van Biesen

Koen Van Biesen (b. 1964) makes musical picture books, for which he creates the words, illustrations and music. His first book was published in 2006 and he has won a Vlag en Wimpel a number of times since then. Roger put him on the international map: the book is available in ten languages. His working method: a notebook full of little drawings, musical notes and snippets of history in which his ideas take shape.
