Stefan Boonen

Stefan Boonen (b. 1966) began his career as a cabinet maker and a youth care worker. He made his literary debut in 2000, and since then he has written more than 80 books. His oeuvre is varied, ranging from picture books to illustrated novels and from nonfiction to pieces for the theatre. He gives courses in creative writing and often speaks at schools and libraries about his work.
